The Arab league convened on Sunday in Cairo in order to deliberate over the future of the organization’s mission to Syria. Despite the fact that the 22-member organization’s presence has done little to attenuate the violence being perpetuated by the Syrian government, the Arab league has decided to extend its mission in the country.
